What is Telepsychiatry?
Simply put it is virtual psychiatric care where quality and convenience of care is matched. Telepsychiatry has been around for years and is rapidly growing. Telepsychiatry is an excellent option if you suffer from disorders such as Anxiety, Depression and ADHD. Telepsychiatry is likely not an appropriate option of you are suffering from psychotic disorders/schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, have active substance abuse/addiction problems and active self-harm. Controlled subt are generally not started in this practice.

Initial Consultation
During our first appointment, I will gather history, evaluate symptoms and formulate a diagnosis. Together we will develop a treatment plan. If medication is indicated, I will explain why a medication is being prescribed, potential side effects and risks/benefits of the treatment.
Follow ups
These sessions take place after the initial visit to help evaluate and monitor your progress, track improvement of symptoms, establish new goals, and discuss any side effects or questions you may have about your treatment. In order to custom tailor your treatment plan, you may require frequent visits, especially during the first couple of months.
